Field Trips

YMF coordinates a variety of social events allowing younger engineers to develop their personal skills, make friends, and have fun outside their professional atmosphere. Annual events include attending the Western Regional Younger Member Council meeting, weekend trips to Mammoth Lakes, Yosemite National Park, and Las Vegas Retreat. Other regular events include happy hour gatherings, technical presentations, sporting events, tailgate parties, and many others.

With all of these activities, you're sure to meet and get to know LA's most talented and successful engineers. Perhaps the person you work alongside at a beach cleanup will have an opportunity down the line that interests you. Maybe your company will have the need to hire a specialist, and you'll know just who to call because you played basketball with one at Sportsday. Whatever the case, you never know who you might meet and what opportunity may arise from participating with YMF.
