P.E. Review

The MLAB YMF sponsors a two-month-long P.E. review course once a year. The review course is held from January until March at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works headquarters in Alhambra. The course is open to all engineers preparing for the exam and offers a discounted enrollment rate for ASCE members.

The review course provides comprehensive coverage of all subjects addressed by the eight-hour NCEES exam as well as those included in the California Special Survey and Seismic portions of the exam. The course is taught by Professional Engineers and University Instructors that have many years of experience in their respective fields of expertise. The course enrollment is typically 20 to 30 students. The course fees are competitive to other P.E. review courses and include several textbooks, lecture notes, and practice problems. The course meets twice during the week in the evenings, to avoid conflicting with weekend plans. Taking the MLAB YMF P.E. review course is a great way to prepare for the exam and network with other civil engineers.
