I've been designing websites, largely for personal use since 1997. I've had my hands on drawing, painting, photography, drafting, ceramics on and off over the years, but none stuck to me like web design did.

It is far more a hobby than a job.

I believe in trying to keep hobbies and work seperated.

Cheers.

This was 2001, oh high school, the good old days. Back when CSS was just getting on its feet. I was actually using JS to make rollover images haha. Back when everyone wanted a “splash” page…

Look at that awesome blurry text!

I was really going for something super simplistic here, very minimal. I lost interest. Don’t know what else to say about this one.

The most complex menu system I ever created from scratch! It was so difficult to align everything up perfectly cross-browser! One of those horzontal changing sub-menu thingers.

Wish I’d gotten more feed back from the client…  :(

ASCE UCF Chapter

I put this site together for the UCF ASCE group. I did webmaster for them for a year or 2. If I remember right I put the whole site together in a number of hours, same day.

I don’t upkeep the site anymore, but they still use my design.

More Writting

I came across a website, can’t recall it now. But it was designed almost entirely with text, very little imagery. You can’t see it here, but I spent hours typing tons of information about myself! All within those links there, silly things. Like “Soccer Jersey’s” owned, “favorite foods”. Silly stuff.

Now this was a long time ago. It was kinda funny, because the band broke up while I was in the middle of designing it!

Aren’t those some of the worst lighting effects ever created? I liked the barb wire though.

LEAD Scholar Program

This was funny. The “leaders” of the group asked whoever was interested to put together their idea for a design. But what they meant, for some odd reason as I found out when I presented it, was they wanted us to actually build the entire site, each of us individually. Talk about a waste of time!

So I made a template, and the other guy made a very poor attempt at a full site. But I guess he did what they wanted haha!
